The three main objectives of these resources are to teach your dog:
* to see value in being close to you - being close to you means they're not at the end of the lead.
* to walk without pulling - being able to ignore interesting, exciting, or worrying things in the environment is key to being able to walk nicely on lead.
* to walk at your speed - walking at your speed is a skill your dog has to learn, since dogs have four legs compared to our two and so naturally want to walk more quickly than us.
Now, you're able to ask questions and receive responses directly beneath each resource as you progress. You'll also be able to see any questions that other dog owners have asked, or you can email me directly. I'm here to make sure you're make the progress you want!
To see progress fast, I recommend 5-10 minutes, two to three times per day. However, whatever you manage to do will be more than you were doing before, and whatever you do do will undoubtedly be making a difference, so do what you can.
You can work through the resources entirely at your own speed and they're there for you to use time and again for as long as Power Pullers is in existence.
As a general guideline, if you're doing the training frequently, you should start to see some improvements within three to four weeks. Some owners see progress much quicker than that.
caniAmis only uses positive training. The training strategies are presented to your dog as games. Games are mentally and physically stimulating for your dog and they're fun for your dog to play. This makes it more likely your dog will repeat the behaviours you want them to.
When teaching our dogs new behaviours, it's really important that it's worth their while, so their everyday food is used as rewards in the vast majority of the games, along with lots of praise. You'll find more info about this in the Training with Food e-book inside the course.
You will never be asked to harm or intimidate your dog or to put them into a situation they can't cope with.
This makes life a little more of a challenge, but it can still be done with fruit and veggies, and the use of a squeezy tube for wet foods.
No. A dual clip harness and lead is recommended, but it isn't essential. If you don't have one, you can just use whatever you have already, although caniAmis does not support the use of choke collars, half choke collars, Martingale collars, or any other instrument which causes discomfort to your dog.
Yes, you can pay by debit or credit card at checkout, just as you might with other international transactions. If you're outside of the EU, you'll be subject to currency conversion rates and your usual bank charges for international purchases.
Absolutely! Just select that option at checkout.
I'd like to think you'll love these resources, you and your dog will have fun, and your dog will make fantastic progress. But if you're not satisfied, you have 14 days to request a refund.
